RF-3590-RT - military tablet

                        American industry leader in military communications - Harris Corporation - has expanded its range of military tablet. It is a professional device designed for the extreme conditions of the battlefield.

                         Full name is Harris RF-3590-RT. RT stands for Ruggedized Tablet. These are not just empty words. RF-3590 meets the standards of the U.S. armed forces on the mechanical and environmental and climate (MIL-STD-810G) and a very important regarding electromagnetic compatibility with other military equipment, electrical / electronic (MIL-STD 461E). Civilian toys do not have a chance to meet primarily the latter requirement.
                     This new tablet OS Android Honeycomb (3.2) with the possibility of renovation and expansion of new versions. RF-3590 is equipped with dual-core processor (1.5 GHz) and 128 GB of internal NVM memory and 2 GB LPDDR2. The RF-3590 sensor is an accelerometer, inclinometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and ambient light, GPS and digital compass, barometer and thermometer.

                     7-inch touch screen LCD (1024 x 600) provides comfort also in full sun. Both the front and back of the tablet has a built-in microphones, 2 MP camera (front) and 8 Mp (rear) and a speaker. In addition, it features, among others the sockets and connectors for the card slot, dual SIM, HDMI, USB 2.0 HS / OTG, H250 (the handset and hełmofonu). With all these features, RF-3590 provides fast and easy to collect basic data from the battlefield and their transmission in real time. The more that the new tablet is compatible with such standards and data communications, such as 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 BLEANT, 3G/4G / LTE (Mini PCIe), 10/100 Ethernet.
                     The new tablet fed removable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 20 Wh. It can be recharged via USB (8-36 V DC). RF-3590 dimensions of 8.9 x 1.3 x 6.5 inches (22.6 x 3.3 x 16.5 cm), weight is 2 pounds (about 907 g). Tablet is fully compatible with all radios Harris Falcon III family, backpack and hand AN/PRC-152A AN/PRC-117G.
