MediaPad - new Huawei tablet with Android 4.0

                     Huawei has announced that MediaPad will be one of the world's first tablet sold running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.





          Original MediaPad, which premiered in June 2011, was the world's first 7-inch tablet with Android 3.2. The new version MediaPad again offers users the latest Android facilities along with the latest and most popular applications on the Android store.


                  Huawei also announced new colors for the models of series MediaPad Android 3.2 in three trendy versions: a shadowy black, classic brown and hot pink. Both versions MediaPad have a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel resolution at 217 PPI with support for playback at 1080p Full HD. They are also equipped with dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm processor and battery providing more than 6 hours.




       
                "The tablet's market, which is dominated by low-key, black and white devices, the new color series MediaPad definitely stands out positively. This is possible thanks to the attractive appearance, without having to buy an external case. This hardware configuration provides high quality display, powerful dual-core processor and a long battery life, colored tablets MediaPad embodies a rare combination of style and performance, "- said Richard Yu, director of Huawei Device.

                   A new series of color MediaPad Huawei and models equipped with the Android 4.0 will be available in selected markets in the first quarter of 2012. Current users will receive MediaPads Android update to version 4.0 under the over-the-air for the first quarter of 2012.
