Asus Transformer 300 is coming

Asus Transformer 300 - cheaper version of the Prime Transformer - begins to appear in successive European and American stores. Does the Primere of the hybrid tablet is actually close?

Asus Transformer 300 was introduced in February at the Mobile World Congress 2012. This equipment was to be a cheaper version Pime'a, although the release was silent about it. Foreign service industry, however, noted that this new tablet appeared in the pre-French online store Tablette Store.

Asus' new tablet is equipped with quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 clocked at 1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels. The equipment also has two webcams (8 megapixels to 1.3 megapixels rear and front), microSD card slot and outputs microHDMI. The whole running an operating system Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

The 32 GB at the French store was priced at 499 euros. The price is quite high despite the fact that a similar amount we can get Transfromera Prime (of course without the dock). The American store J & R Transformer 300 16 GB version is priced at $ 379. Unfortunately we do not know if it was not a mistake, because the offer very quickly disappeared from publication. In addition, surprised by such a large discrepancy in prices.

The set has found a Lapdock, which will extend the battery operation time from 10 to about 15 hours. Pre-sales version of the new tablet is equipped with WiFi only. Transformer 300 will be available in three colors - white, blue and red.
